This Sun Wukong tea pet is somewhat different from the Monkey King we are familiar with. He is not waving his golden staff in battle, but is quietly meditating and practicing, as if he is realizing the truth. This prompts us to consider why he is named "Wukong" (lit. 'meditating on emptiness' or 'realizing enlightenment on emptiness') when he has such great power?

The name Wukong was given by Bodhi Patriarch, symbolizing the perception of "emptiness". When you are drinking tea and gazing at this meditating Wukong, you can't help but think deeply: Are the power and wealth we pursue in the world ultimately empty? The existence of Wukong reminds us to stop in our busy lives and reflect on the true meaning of life.
