This finely cast gilt-bronze seal is of substantial weight and lustrous patina, exuding an air of solidity and refinement. The form is square and well-proportioned, surmounted by a mythical beast finial modeled in the traditional auspicious and protective style.

The double-headed beast is shown recumbent, with bulging eyes, rounded snout, and open jaws revealing sharp teeth, conveying strength and vigilance. Its musculature is full and powerful, the posture commanding and dignified. Flowing manes fall neatly along the nape, while the sides of the spine are adorned with delicately rendered spiral curls—details that bring the creature vividly to life. The overall modeling captures a harmonious balance between motion and stillness.

The seal face is incised in zhuanshu (seal script) Tibetan characters. Based on its form and stylistic features, the piece may be identified as a Tibetan Buddhist–style seal.
