Manjushri Bodhisattva represents penultimate wisdom. As a Buddha of Three Times, past, present, and future, His ten great vows all center around guiding sentient beings to generate bodhicitta and seek the path of enlightenment.

Grandmaster JinBodhi once taught that Manjushri Bodhisattva's Sword of Wisdom represents a swift cutting through all troubles. Since many of our afflictions come from our emotions and feelings, the Sword of Wisdom represents the wisdom to let go.
